Delhi-based All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has issued notification for admission in B.Sc (H) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing (Post - Basic) / BSC (Paramedical Courses) - 2020.  Students wishing to make a career in the field of nursing and paramedical can succeed in its entrance examination and lay the foundation for a better tomorrow.  

Nursing remains one of its special places as one of the best career paths in the field of ChiKitsa.  This is the reason that every year on a large scale, the candidates try to get admission in the nursing course of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the premier medical institute of the country.  AIIMS has started the application process for admission to B.Sc Nursing and Paramedical Courses in the 2020 academic session.

 About Nursing Courses 


From AIIMS, Delhi, you can do BSc (Hons) and B.Sc (Post Basic) courses in Nursing.  Apart from this, this institute is also giving opportunity for admission to graduate courses in paramedical subjects. 

 This includes BSc (Hons) in Medical Technology in Radiography and Bachelor of Optometry courses.  

Eligibility for application:


 For B.Sc (Hons) in Nursing, the candidate is required to have passed 12th class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 55 percent marks from recognized board. 

 For B.Sc (Consultative Courses), the minimum 50% marks should be in 12th with English, JKS, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics. 

 For B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic), a 12th pass or equivalent qualification, Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized institute is mandatory to be registered as a nurse or midwife in a State Nursing Council.

Entrance exam dates.  

Admission will be given on the basis of success in the entrance examination in all courses.  The examination for admission to BSC Nursing (Post-Basic) was conducted on June 6, 2020 and for BSC (Paramedical Courses) on June 20, 2020 from 10 am to 11:30am o'clock.  The examination for admission to BSC (Hons) Nursing will be held on June 28, 2020 from 10 am to 12 pm.
