1. Your knowledge in the English language is tested. Your basic grammar knowledge, vocabulary, writing skill are checked in this part.
2. Grammar: Agreement, Time and tense, parallel construction, Relative pronouns, Determiners, Preposition, Modals, Adjectives, Voice, Transformation, Question tags, Phrasal verbs.
3. Vocabulary: Synonyms and Antonyms, finding the odd word, one-word answers, jumbled letters, Homophones, spelling, Finding the meaning, Analogy.
4. Reading Comprehension: Content, vocabulary, referents, idioms/ phrases, reconstruction.

BITSAT Exam Syllabus:  LOGICAL REASONING

• The candidate’s verbal and non-verbal skill is judged in this part.

Verbal Reasoning:

1. Analogy – Problems based on relationships.
2. Classification which includes the Problems based on grouping the items based on an idea and then spotting the odd one out.
3.  Problems based on completing a series which is based on an idea or finding the wrong series.
4. Logical deduction includes Reading the given passage and finding the correct or incorrect conclusions.
5. Problems based on completing the chart or table from the given questions.

Non-verbal reasoning:

1. Pattern perception – The unknown part of the pattern has to be found from the options
2. Figure Formation and Analysis – Form the figure from the given unknown parts.
3. Paper-cutting – Analysing the pattern from the folded pieces of paper and solving the given question.
4. Figure Matrix – From the given set of matrix candidate has to find the missing one following the same rule.
